Ottawa rapper TwoTiime is back with second official single of his 2022 campaign, “On The Edge.”
Produced by Deep Hartt and JabariOnTheBeat, it’s fast-paced track with a melodic flow. The accompanying music video was shot and directed by SOTO, who’s worked with Yo Gotti. Filmed in Miami, the visuals feature scenic imagery of the city with stylistic visuals edited by MyNameFrench.
“‘On The Edge’ is a record that reflects my journey through the music industry,” says TwoTiime.
“From turning my pain into lyrics and finding common ground with an audience that can relate to my struggle. My desire is to help them realize that pain can be the fuel that drives you to find success in life.”
“On The Edge” is the latest addition in TwoTiime’s catalogue, which has yielded tracks that are both reflective and introspective.
The rapper says he strives to make music that channels emotions relatable to his audience. He tells us themes of pain and experiencing the industry as a young artist will be continue in his next single, “Find My Way,” set to premiere later this month.
“On The Edge” follows TwoTiime’s last single released earlier this month, “Off Some.” TwoTiime also joined Edmonton’s Lindasson for a remix of his track “Eighties” in early April.
TwoTiime was featured as one of Complex’s picks for 30 Canadian musicians to watch out for in 2022.
