It's no secret that Lil Wayne has been mulling over his future as a rapper. Last June, the 31-year-old New Orleans native appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he explained Tha Carter V would be his last solo album. He also mentioned he would like to retire from rap by the age of 35, so he could spend time with his family.

Weezy reiterated this in a recent interview with MTV when he was asked about his plans after Tha Carter V is released. "$25 to $35 million would get me to do another solo album after this. I didn't smile when I said that," Wayne explained. "I personally plan on this being my final solo album. Yes, it's definitely the final Carter album."

On a related note, check out Lil Wayne's latest episode of "Weezy Wednesdays" (on a Thursday, no less), where the rapper chops it up with his Young Money teammates Mack Maine and Tyga. He also shares some footage from a recent label party, and best believe Weezy is popping bottles.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V will be released May 5.
