The release schedule for January always tends to be a little quieter than the rest of the year, but we still got some playlist staples this month. J. Cole offered up the smooth loosie “High for Hours,” Major Lazer brought the dancehall-inspired vibes alongside Nicki Minaj and Partynextdoor on “Run Up,” and Migos delivered their much-anticipated album Culture which included the standout closing track “Out Yo Way.” Kehlani also dropped her debut studio album SweetSexySavage, and we can’t get enough of the pop bounce on ”Undercover.” Shouts to producer Charlie Heat.
