Smokepurpp has returned with a video for his Deadstar 2 album cut “What I Please” featuring Denzel Curry.

In the video, we see the pair doing exactly what the song title suggests: whatever they want. That includes messing with patrons at an art gallery, eating extravagant foods, and playing with huge snakes.

“The video was important to shoot because it’s one of my favorite songs on the album as well as [Denzel and I] both being from the same part of Miami,” Purpp told Complex. “It was also streaming well and the vision the director [Unkle Luc] had for the video really made it come to life. I also wanted to connect with Denzel aside from music.”

Purpp released Deadstar 2 in mid-December, which features additional guest spots from Trippie Redd, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Pump, and Moneybagg Yo, along with production from Murda Beatz, Ronny J, Go Grizzly, and Apex Martin.

Smokepurpp recently sat down with Complex to share a list of his top five SoundCloud rap songs, which included his own song “Audi,” as well as Lil Yachty’s “Minnesota,” Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang,” and more.

“[SoundCloud rap] simplified things a little bit, and I think that's good, because if you feel like your music doesn't need to be overly produced, it's your art,” he said. “People should make their art however they want to.”
