It looks like PartyNextDoor might have some new music in the works.
Producer Neenyo—who’s produced for PND, Drake, and others—shared the news on Twitter on Sunday, when he replied to a tweet from DJ Akademiks.
Akademiks wrote on Twitter, “Man where PartyNextDoor been at?? So many wack ni**as making wack music... and this ni**a Party is MIA ...whichever of u industry Ni**as got him in a dungeon writing your next single ... let him drop something real quick.”
Neenyo wrote in response, “It’s coming.”
PND has been laying low, but it seems like he's finally ready to start releasing new music again. In early March, he took to Snapchat to preview a currently unreleased song for his fans.
Fans subsequently pointed out that there was a very familiar sounding voice on the song with PND, and a number of people came to the conclusion that it’s Rihanna. PND previously collaborated with Rihanna on her No. 1 single “Work,” which he wrote.
PND’s last full-length project was 2016's PartyNextDoor 3, which was followed by his 2017 EPs Colours 2 and Seven Days. Last year, however, was a very quiet year for the OVO Sound artist.
