Mariah Carey’s hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You”topped the Billboard Hot 100, sitting at No. 1 for the latter half of December.

Now, Billboard reports that the achievement has allowed Carey to become the first artist with a No. 1 song on the Hot 100 spanning all four distinct decades: ‘90s, ‘00s, ‘10s, and ‘20s.

The singer celebrated the moment on Instagram and Twitter, and also shared an old video interview where she discusses the making of her classic Christmas song.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” has now spent its third week at the top of the Hot 100, dated Jan. 4, 2020. The song first led the charts dated Dec. 21 and Dec. 28. The song, which was originally released in 1994, became Carey’s 19th No. 1.

Carey spoke with Complex earlier this month, and celebrated the anniversary of Carey's beloved Merry Christmas.

"I don't know what all these other people are doing with their Christmas albums," Carey said. "They're good but I'm really happy and proud of mine." As for the sustained popularity of "All I Want for Christmas Is You," Carey said she "can't even believe what it's done over the years."
