Coi Leray has once again addressed people calling her a "TikTok artist," a critique she responded to last month by pointing out that she has Billboard hits.

Coi Leray is here to set critics straight, once again.

The Boston native took to Twitter on Monday, writing, “Call me a tik tok artist, but just so you know. When an artist drops music, it gets uploaded to TikTok as well. Whether they chose to promote and have fun with the record, that’s on them… but I got a family to feed, ima get mines regardless.”

This isn’t the first time the rapper has been called a TikTok artist. Last month, Leray was criticized for the same thing, even though a number of her tracks have hit the Billboard Hot 100.

“Tik Tok artist goes straight to Billboard every time so call me a Billboard artist whenever you wanna throw Tik Tok in there,” she tweeted. She also shared a screenshot of the top tracks on TikTok in the U.S., with her recent song “Twinnem” reaching No. 1 on the chart.

At the same time, she went on the defense for BIA who was criticized for her lack of enthusiasm during her BET Hip Hop Awards performance. “These bitches GOT NO HITS,” she wrote. “NOT 1 IDGAF DEAD CROWD LIT CROWD WE MAKE HITS WHILE THEY OUT HERE MAKING VIBES SMD ALL YALL HATERS.”
