'Nylon Germany' apparently didn't ask for consent before publishing the digital version of Billie Eilish on its cover.

Billie Eilish has a problem with being on the cover of Nylon Germany’s new issue—because she didn’t give the publication consent.

Nylon Germany evidently didn’t contact the 17-year-old singer before publishing a seemingly-topless, digital, and bald version of her on its cover. When Eilish saw the magazine, she called Nylon Germany out on its now-deleted Instagram post.

In a four-pointed list, Eilish rattled off her problems with the cover. “I did not know it was happening nor did anyone on my team,” she wrote, adding that it wasn't “even a real picture” of her and she “had absolutely no creative input.” She slammed the publication for making her look “shirtless” at her age. “Even if the picture was supposed to look like some robot version of me... I did not consent in any way.”

According to Cosmopolitan, the publication replied by editing its Instagram caption but never apologized.

According to BBC News, per the original caption, the singer was featured in Nylon Germany as one of three “digital prodigies,” with the cover art depicting her as a “supernatural fembot of the future.”
