The coronavirus has made its way to the U.S., with multiple states reporting confirmed cases, and New York City reporting its second case on Tuesday. So far, seven people in the U.S. have died from the virus.

But 50 Cent has clearly taken the news in stride, instead choosing to joke about the crisis. He recently posted a screenshot of a New York Times article that announced a possible outbreak, writing, “The whole gang outside wit it?”

Later, he shared an image of a germ outfitted in Timberlands and a fitted New York cap.

After Gov. Andrew Cuomo confirmed New York City’s second case, Mayor Bill de Blasio said the city is addressing the possible epidemic.

“With the results confirmed within a number of hours, we were immediately able to take next steps to stop the spread of this virus,” de Blasio said in a statement, per theTimes. “We have said from the beginning that it is likely we will see more positive cases of the coronavirus.”

Two cases have also been confirmed in Atlanta, which has caused a reaction from 2 Chainz. The rapper shared the breaking news on Instagram, alongside the caption, “Mannnnn yal done brought that shit to Wakanda.”

According to XXL, T.I. responded to 2 Chainz’s post, writing, “U buuullshittin!!!!”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp commented on the situation during a press conference: “Georgians should remain calm. We were ready for today,” he said, per Atlanta’s WSB-TV. “We have been preparing for weeks now and so far, every development has come forward just as we expected it would.”

Boosie Badazz has also responded to news of the outbreak. The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram Live, discussing the coronavirus outbreak in a xenophobic and racist manner. “If you Chinese or Yang, don’t come around me. PhilippinesI’m sorry,” he said.
