Dwyane Wade is the latest NBA player to enter the rap game.
The 13-time All-Star joined forces with Rick Ross on a new single and video called “Season Ticket Holder.” Wade confirmed the collaboration earlier this week, during an appearance on Good Morning America.
"I wanted to get on one song, one day,” he told the hosts. “Rick Ross, who's a good friend of mine, reached out and said 'D, let's do a track for the city. So my last year I filmed a song with Rick Ross called 'Season Ticket Holder.'"
The track also features singer-songwriter Raphael Saadiq and Miami Heat’s Udonis Haslem, who goes by the stage name UD. You can listen to “Season Ticket Holder” now on all major streaming services, and watch the video up top.
The single arrives ahead of the L3gacy Celebration—a three-day event honoring Wade’s NBA career. The first event, dubbed “The Flashback,” will take place Friday at the American Airlines Arena, where NBA figures will reflect on Wade’s “most legendary moments.” The Miami Heat will also retire Wade’s No. 3 jersey at halftime of Saturday’s game against Cleveland. Then on Sunday, ESPN will premiere D. Wade: Life Unexpected—a documentary that chronicles the athlete’s life both on and off the court.

Wade also made headlines earlier this month for showing support toward his 12-year-old daughter, Zaya, who came out as transgender last week. The forthcoming ESPN documentary will touch on Zaya’s gender identity and her decision to share her story.
“I struggled on how much I wanted to talk about in the doc," Dwyane said during his GMA interview. "I actually didn't talk about it a lot. But, I knew if I put it in the doc at all, it would be a big conversation.
“And we struggled with that from, 'Yes, we understand that our daughter's 12 years old.' We struggled with what people would say about a 12-year-old making a decision about her life. But we also know our child."
