Watch Migos Freestyle a Children's Book Over Their "Bad and Boujee" Beat

Migos freestyles the children's book 'Llama Llama Red Pajama' over their “Bad and Boujee” beat.

Migos rapping a children’s book is as amazing as it sounds.

On Monday morning, the trio stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show to discuss their upcoming album Culture, take a quick Spanish lesson, and put their own spin on the rhyming kid’s book Llama Llama Red Pajama.

This isn’t the first time host J Cruz asked guest artists to freestyle the work; however, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff’s rendition is definitely our favorite. You can check out Migos read through the book over the “Bad and Boujee” beat at the 13:40 mark of the video above.

2017 is shaping up to be a huge year for Migos. In preparation for their sophomore album drop, the members have dominated the charts, put on stellar TV performances, and even received a shout out at the 74th annual Golden Globes. But they're not about to rest on their laurels. The group is on a mission to leave an indelible mark on hip-hop history.

“The new album title is about the culture of hip-hop music. It’s time to let the culture be known. It’s time to claim it. And it’s time to claim that we are the Migos, and for people to understand that this is what we did,” Offset told The Fader. “We did a lot for music. Migos is the culture. Seriously. There are artists that are way bigger than us that get recognition off our flow.”

Quavo echoed the sentiment, explaining that Migos still has something to prove.

“I want people to know that we great artists and that we're funny guys. We're multi-talented. We're very creative. We got long vision,” he said. “We can make all types of music, all genres. We can dress. We record ourselves. We engineer ourselves. We mixed and mastered the whole Culture album ourselves.”
