Joey Badass celebrates his 26th birthday with not one, but two gifts for fans.
On Wednesday, the Brooklyn-born rapper came through with his new record "Let It Breathe," and its official video. Joey promoted the visual on his Instagram account shortly after it was released; he revealed he and his co-directors—Levi Turner and Waqas Ghani—had filmed the entire thing just a day before.
"As promised, here’s a gift to you for my Gday. #LetItBreathe official video out now," he captioned the post. " ...P.S. we shot this last night."
At this time, it's unclear if "Let It Breathe" is a loosie or if it's part of a full-length effort.
You can watch the "Let It Breath" track, produced by Statik Selektah, above. The song comes about six months after the Pro Era member shared his three-track project, The Light Pack, featuring Pusha-T. It also arrives on the five-year anniversary of his debut studio album, B4.DA.$$.
Fans are now patiently awaiting the release of Joey's short film Two Distant Strangers, a politically charged project in which he stars alongside Andrew Howard and Zaria Simone. Check out the trailer here.
