It was just two weeks ago when Drake delivered his two-sided, 25-track Scorpion album. Since then, the highly anticipated project has secured Drake multiple big-time wins, such as breaking the Apple MusicĀ record for single-day streamsĀ andĀ becoming the first album to rack in more than 1 billion streams in a single week.
Drake couldāve easily stopped there and rode Scorpionās success for the rest of the year; but thankfully for his fans, the 6 God was far from finished. One week after hisĀ "Behind Barz"Ā performance,Ā DrizzyĀ deliversĀ his incendiary Fire In The BoothĀ freestyle duringĀ Charlie Sloth'sĀ BBC Radio 1XtraĀ segment.
The British DJ teased the appearance earlier this week on social media, stating,Ā "All the best rappers in the UKĀ done it. I need the best rapper in the world to do this."
As expected, DrizzyĀ seemingly referenced his beef with Pusha-T and Kanye West:
The only skeletons here are the ones from the nights that I raised hell
Make sure the staff are paid well
Make them think twice about the stories that they tell
No one knows when the plan is hatchin'
I'ma make them walk on eggshells
Tiptoe, niggas better know
The freestyle received mixed reactions on social media, with some fans insisting Drake killed it, while others were disappointed with the bars.
You can check out the Fire In The Booth freestyle above.
Drake has been making a lot of moves in LondonĀ this past week: Last Sunday, he made a surprise appearance at the annual Wireless Festival, and was spotted filming a videoĀ onĀ Piccadilly Circus.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the video's release.
