Word of caution: Do not question Drake’s oral hygiene.
On Friday morning, the OVO boss posted several Instagam photos from a recent night out with his crew. Though there was nothing too notable or offensive about the images, one particular shot prompted some petty trolling and questions about Drake’s dental health.
The photo shows the rapper smiling ear-to-ear while hugging a man. Upon closer examination, you can see there is a small speck on his front tooth, which led one user to write: “Lmao all that money and ur teeth don't look clean.”
Drizzy wasn’t going to let this one slide. Shortly after the comment was posted, he explained what the speck actually was and defended his routine for a healthy smile.
“I have a pink diamond [on] my tooth,” Drake replied to the troll. “I brush with activated charcoal before any club night where I will see baddies know dattttttttttt.”
So, there you have it. Not only does Drake brush his teeth, he does so with special—debatably more effective—toothpaste.
The More Life artist has upped his Instagram activity in recent weeks. Several days ago, he and his former foe Tory Lanez had a brief exchange on the platform, poking fun at one of Lanez’s impersonators. He has also shared a number of photos taken inside a recording studio, which of course sparked rumors about upcoming music. Stay tuned.
