Drake 'Care Package'

Ahead of the ninth annual OVO Fest in Toronto, DrakeĀ surprised his fans with a special delivery: a 17-track compilation project called Care Package.

The OVO boss announced the release via Instagram on Thursday afternoon, confirming it would include stand-alone tracks that were never officially released. Care Package features fan-favorite songs like "4 PMĀ in Calabasas," "Can I," "Dreams Money Can Buy,"Ā "Jodeci Freestyle"Ā featuring J. Cole, and the Rick Ross-assisted "Free Spirit."

"Some of our most important moments together available in one place," Drake wrote in the project's announcement.

Though Care Package doesn't offer anything new (some of the cuts were recorded about a decade ago), it is aĀ convenient gift for Drake die-hards. As previously mentioned, all these songs never appeared on a proper LP, and were only available via Soundcloud orĀ unauthorized YouTube videos.Ā

Fans were quick to express their gratitude.

You can stream Care PackageĀ now on Apple Music and via Spotify below.

Interestingly, Care Package wasĀ released under the OVO banner. Drake's recentĀ The Best in the World PackĀ release, which included the tracksĀ "OmertĆ " andĀ "Money in the Grave" featuringĀ Rick Ross, was dropped underĀ Frozen Moments, LLC. For those who pay attention to such things, both those names are not the usualĀ Young Money/Cash Money that Drake's music is released under.

Drake is now preparing to unleashĀ the much-anticipated follow-up to 2018's Scorpion.
