Alchemist is looking to dominate the remainder of summer.
The 41-year-old prolific producer unleashed his Yacht Rock 2 album Thursday night, nearly seven year’s after the original two-sided release. Alchemist has been promoting the effort since early July, sharing its cover art, official tracklist, and several song snippets.
“Yacht Rock 2 will be yours very soon," he tweeted last month. "I'm just being greedy, enjoying it before it rules the summer and everyone has it. Stay extremely tuned."
Yacht Rock 2 consists of 12 cuts, with guest appearances by Action Bronson, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn, Conway, Big Body Bes, Roc Marciano, and more.

The project arrives nearly five months after Alchemist shared the fifth installment of his Rappers Best Friend beat series, and one month after he shared “W.Y.G.D.T.N.S.” with Schoolboy Q.
