Listen to Vic Mensa's New EP 'Vino Valentino' f/ Malik Yusef, Peter CottonTale, and More
Nearly a year after the release of his last full-length offering 'I Tape,' Vic Mensa returns with his latest project, the four-track EP 'Vino Valentino.'
Vic Mensa is celebrating Valentine’s Day by sharing his latest project, Vino Valentino.
The four-track EP, which marks the Chicago rapper’s first full-length offering since last year’s I Tape, features guest appearances from Malik Yusef, Do or Die, Dixson, and Peter CottonTale. Mensa handled the production on “D’ussé Tears” and “Can I Call U Baby.”
Vino Valentino is the third EP Mensa has released in the past 18 months. After dropping the seven-track V Tape project in August 2020, Vic returned in March 2021 with another seven-track offering, I Tape, which was highlighted by appearances from fellow Chicago artists Chance the Rapper, Jeremih, and Wyatt Waddell.
Since then, Vic Mensa has continued his momentum by sharing a string of singles including the BJ the Chicago Kid-featuring “The Taste” and the Virgil Abloh tribute “What You Taught Us.” Vic has also delivered guest verses on recent singles from a pair of up-and-coming singers, Lauren Jauregui’s “Scattered” and TRAKGIRL’s “Candyman.”
