Ahead of the release of her forthcoming album Shape Up, Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47 returns with her latest single “LL Cool J.”
The track arrives alongside a music video, which features a cameo from style consultant Aleali May.
Set to be released April 15 via Hardcover/RCA Records, Shape Up serves as the official follow-up to Leikeli47’s 2018 album Acrylic. The project is expected to feature the previously released singles “BITM” and “Chitty Bang,” the latter of which was included in an Apple iPhone 13 commercial.
As for her forthcoming full-length offering, Leikeli said in a press release that Shape Up will feature “me finally walking into the confidence I always pretended to have.”
“I’m happy to say I’m here,” Leikeli added. “It took work, it takes work, and that’s what ‘Shape Up’ is about.”
