Young Thug's 'Slime Language' Might Be Dropping This Week

After sending out snakes to reveal the tracklist of his new album 'Slime Language,' Young Thug has teased on his Instagram that his new project could be arriving as soon as this week.

Young Thug has been teasing his new release Slime Language for a little while now, increasing the hype for the project by sending numerous publications, including us, snakes that reveal the tracklist. He didn't give an indication as to when we might get to hear the project, but it's pretty safe to assume that it'll be dropping very soon. In fact, on an Instagram Live stream, it was teased that it could be dropping as soon as this week.

"Slime Language this motherf**kin' week," a voice exclaims in a clip posted to Twitter by some fans.

Due to the dark nature of the video, it's hard to make out who says it's dropping this week, but considering how close they were to the camera it's safe to say they're in the know. Alex Tumay, Thug's go-to mix engineer, did recently tease that it was coming "soon," although he could just be making light of the viral image of a python eating a pigeon in London and nothing else.

Young Thug is no stranger to sudden drops, having previously announced his two most recent projects, Hear No Evil and Super Slimey with Future, just a day before their release. With what we know about Slime Language, it wouldn't all that surprising if it does, in fact, come out this week.
