Earlier this month, Atlanta rapper Young Dro was arrested for reportedly throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend during an argument. The two were allegedly having a heated conversation about money when the incident took place. Police were called to the scene, and Dro was arrested and is now facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence. His girlfriend said she did not want to press charges, but now more details regarding the incident have surfaced.

TMZ reports that Dro's girlfriend told police that Dro had gotten violent with her prior to the pudding incident. The two were allegedly arguing in the bedroom of their Atlanta home and Dro punched her in the face, leaving a bruise. Shortly after, she was eating pudding on the sofa in the living room when he "smashed" the plate in her face. He reportedly proceeded to grab a knife from the kitchen and sliced up the living room furniture.

Dro told police he didn't strike his girlfriend during the incident, and when questioned about a bruise he claimed it was a birthmark of hers. She has alleged that he has a drug problem at the moment, and when he comes down from his high he tends to lash out against her. The drugs he has allegedly been taking including Xanax, ecstasy, Albuterol, and Percocet.

Dro poked fun at this incident on his Instagram with a Photoshopped image of him holding two banana-flavored Pudding Pops.
