Rich The Kid is scheduled to release his new album The World Is Yours 2 album later this month on Jan. 18, and to build hype for the release he's been teasing fans with snippets.

He offered up a preview of a new song feature Young Thug, but more interestingly, he's also retweeted a couple of sources reporting that he's got a collaboration with Britney Spears on the way, too.

While it's unclear where the information came from, the fact that the 26-year-old rapper has seemingly confirmed it numerous times over on his Twitter lends a lot of credibility to the rumor. Whether it's a song that'll appear on The World Is Yours 2 remains to be seen, but at the very least we don't have to wait too long to find out. Britney is no stranger to collaborating with rappers, previously working with G-Eazy on her 2016 album Glory.

Recently Rich The Kid was hospitalized following a UTV rollover crash, sustaining a nasty hand injury. It would appear the injuries weren't too serious, however, as he's continued to post on social media as though nothing happened. However, sources did tell TMZ that he would have trouble "using his hand for the rest of the life."
