Megan Thee Stallion has denied speculation that she was the individual who Nicki Minaj said encouraged her to get an abortion and drink while pregnant.

During a recent episode of her Queen Radio show on Amazon’s Amp, Nicki said that a person she knew suggested she get an abortion after she said no to an alcoholic drink. Following the episode, her fanbase began to speculate who the person might be, which led to someone on Twitter to accuse Megan of being the unnamed person.

“LIE,” Megan wrote in response to someone who said Nicki is “accusing you of encouraging abortion & child endangerment w/ alcohol.”

Not long after, another Nicki Minaj fan tweeted at Megan, “No names were mentioned but u were first to respond?” They indicated that means Megan would be the guilty party, but as Megan she was simply replying to a tweet directed at her. “So this person didn’t mention me?” she asked.

“If someone @ you you can respond right or that don’t apply for every user on Twitter?” she added in a follow-up tweet. “If someone directly @ my name … why do they be confused when I reply lol?”

As Nicki detailed on Queen Radio, the person in question made the suggestion to her prior to the birth of her first child in 2020.

“Imagine telling someone you didn’t want a drink… you know, because you were, at the time, possibly pregnant, because you were actively trying to have a baby. Imagine that person saying, ‘Oh girl, you can go to the clinic,'” she said. "Imagine posting photos that you’re pregnant… and the person doesn’t even like it or say congratulations. But then, when you post that Beyoncé sent you flowers congratulating you, the person then tries to attempt to send you flowers thinking that, ‘Oh, I could use this opportunity as I use everyone else. She’ll post that I sent her flowers.’"
