Following the release of the deluxe edition of 7220, Lil Durk sat down for an interview with Ebro Darden and spoke about his working relationship with Lil Baby. In this exclusive clip, Durk explained how effortless it was to hop in the studio with Baby, and spoke on whether fans can expect to hear more from them in the future.

“We was vibing so crazy in the studio, we had to. We was just in that zone. He who he is, he turned up and actually can rap. He ended up rapping his ass off, I’m changing my energy,” Durk says in the clip below. “Matter of fact, we both made each other start writing, too. He would come say something, and I was, ‘Hold on.’ I’d say [censored], he’d be, ‘Hold on.’ So that’s like the energy you would want. You would want that energy. We got so many records that we ain’t put on there.”

In 2021, Durk and Baby teamed up for their chart-topping record, The Voice of the Heroes. In his Apple Music interview with Ebro,

Asked by Ebro if fans can expect another collab album after the success of The Voice of the Heroes, Durk confirmed that he would be up for it. “I would do another one,” he said.

The Voice of the Heroes debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Durk is also set to appear on Cardi B’s new song “Hot Shit” alongside Kanye West, which is set to arrive this Friday, July 1.
