After beefing for a number of years, it appears as though Kodak Black and YoungBoy Never Broke Again are working through their differences.

The two rappers have been going back-and-forth since at least 2017, with shots fired both on records and on social media. Whatever the issue was between them, however, they appear to be putting aside. In a video originally shared to Kodak’s Instagram Stories, the two rappers could be seen laughing and talking on a FaceTime call. It’s somewhat unclear what they’re talking about in the clip, but there doesn’t seem to be much animosity between them anymore.

As recently as last year, Kodak extended an olive branch to his former rival when he declared he enjoys YoungBoy’s music but doesn’t like his fans. “Jus this n***a fans homie! Or whoever tf behind all this #YBBETTER shit,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “That shit be irritating…and can’t nobody else say they don’t feel me. A n***a too real. I ain’t hating on no fuckin’ body. I just say what everybody else scared to say.”

YoungBoy responded in a post where he addressed Kodak’s comments, and simply said, “you don’t like my fans I don’t like you ‘pussy.’” Evidently the rappers don’t seem at odds anymore, and it’s possible their beef has finally come to a close after over five years of rivalry. Whether a collaboration is on the way or they just want to make sure there’s no issues between them, however, remains to be seen.
