It's been a tumultuous time for Kodak Black, to say the least. Having left jail last month after serving seven months of a one-year sentence, the 21-year-old Florida rapper has already shown he's not afraid to get himself in trouble again by threatening A Boogie wit da Hoodie on Instagram. Not long after that, he tweeted Sunday afternoon that he's thinking about quitting rap.

"I probably drop 1 more album or 2 then quit this shit," he tweeted.

Shortly after, he provided more context, tweeting, "I hate everybody watching me and judging me... That only cause me to show y'all my ass."

He may have clarified his tweets around 2 a.m. with the following: "Waking up and not knowing what you did last night ain't boss shit. N***a be lame vibing when they drunk." It's unclear, then, if he stands by his original statements and if he seriously is considering retirement.

Kodak Black has been in and out of jail ever since his rise to fame, facing charges of robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a child, possession of marijuana, criminal sexual conduct including rape, and violation of probation.
