Drake still wants to show love to Kanye West's music despite their complicated history.

Drake is set to kick off his It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage on Wednesday (July 5) in Chicago, which just so happens to be Ye's hometown. In a video posted on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, Drizzy sang along to Kanye West's breakthrough single "Through the Wire." In the clip, he can be seen wearing a top that reads For All the Dogs, which is the expected title of his next album as revealed in an ad for his poetry book, Titles Ruin Everything.

After years of tense back-and-forth, Kanye West and Drake squashed their beef in late 2021. There was a lot of speculation that the two rappers were playing chicken with their release dates for Donda and Certified Lover Boy, but it was drawn out so much that eventually, Ye delivered his album less than a week ahead of CLB. At one point during the feud, Kanye posted Drake's address on Instagram in an apparent attempt to dox him, even though the address was publicly available anyway.

They ultimately set aside their differences for the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert, where they also covered each other's songs. Ever since it's been relatively quiet when it comes to Drake and Ye's interactions.

In a post shared in October last year, Kanye wrote that it "warmed [his] heart" after he saw Drizzy drop a like on one of his posts. “Everyone knows me and Drake have had a rivalry in the past,” wrote Kanye. "It really warmed my heart to see Drake like one of my post. ... All Drake music will be played at Donda games moving forward."

Earlier this year, however, the threat of tension started to bubble once again when Ye's on the single "Search & Rescue." It wasn't just a sample of Kim Kardashian, however, as it was her discussing her marital problems on the series finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy,” Kim K said in the sample. "Remember that." While some took it as a provocation from Drake, his father defended him by simply saying, "It's just a song."

For what it's worth, there were unfounded rumors that Kim Kardashian cheated on Kanye with Drake, but she said in a recent episode of The Kardashians that Ye spread that rumor himself.

Drake has yet to announce a release date for his next studio album, For All the Dogs. "I made an album to go with the book... They say they miss the old Drake girl don't tempt me," he recently teased. "For all the dogs."
