Cardi B Denies Reports that She Has New Music Aimed at Nicki Minaj

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's ongoing beef has been a weird one, with attempts to diffuse only further fanning the flames.

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj's ongoing beef has been a weird one, with attempts to diffuse only further fanning the flames. TMZ is now reporting that Cardi is ready to stop ignoring the beef and face it head-on in music form, although her team is allegedly still debating whether it's the right move or not. Cardi, however, says that this isn't the case at all.

As TMZ reports, sources close to Cardi and her team say that she is taking a lot of shots at Nicki in some of the new music she's recorded. They say her team is currently divided on whether it'll be a good move or not for the rapper, who recently said she reached a breaking point with Nicki. “For a while now she’s been taking a lot of shots at me,” Cardi said earlier this month. “I spoke to her twice before, and we came to an understanding. But she kept it going.”

Cardi is calling fake news on this one, though, posting on her Instagram and directly addressing TMZ. "You see you really pressed my button a couple of weeks ago when ya had photographers literally stalk me and my daughter when I clearly said repeatedly I don’t want to show my daughter," she wrote on Instagram.

"Ya constantly got me in ya blog spreading fake shit about me without doing ya research and even when we tell ya is not true ya still push it," she continues. "Ya motherfuckers need to get off my dick and start reporting about them actresses ya used to report about cause I’m not the one to fuck with THANK YOU!! Btw in REAL news my single “Money” drops November 26!!"

It's not entirely clear where TMZ got the idea that she was working on music taking aim at Nicki, as she shared her post with a screenshot of messages confirming that was not the case. Regardless, fans still have a new single from Cardi to look forward to next month.

Cardi B's reps were reached for comment but did not respond.
