Young Thug Hit With Felony Arrest Warrant in Georgia

After he was reportedly pulled over for illegal window tints last year, it was recently revealed that Young Thug had been charged with possession and intent to distribute meth, marijuana, and hydrocodone.

Earlier this month, Young Thug was hit with eight felony charges related to a September 2017 arrest. After he was reportedly pulled over for illegal window tints, it was later revealed that Thug had been charged with possession and intent to distribute meth, marijuana, and hydrocodone. He was also hit with charges for possession of Alprazolam, amphetamine, codeine, and a firearm.

Now, TMZ is reporting that an arrest warrant has been issued for Thug in Georgia's DeKalb County in connection with those felony charges.

The warrant has nothing to do with Thug's arrest last month in L.A. for possession of a concealed weapon.

Despite all his problems with the law, the Atlanta rapper revealed that he will be releasing a new album this week titled On The Run. The project will follow the compilation record he dropped last month, Slime Language

It remains to be seen if the album will actually make its release date amid all the legal drama, but hopefully Thugger can fulfill his promise and also turn up at J. Cole's North Carolina-set Dreamville Festival later this week on Sept. 15.
