YoungBoy Never Broke Again Associate Arrested in Connection With 2016 Drive-By Shooting

Another member of the Never Broke Again crew has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in 2016.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has already pled guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm after he fired shots at two men in Baton Rouge believed to be connected to the death of YoungBoy's cousin. Police allege that 21-year-old Turlondrick Norman also fired on the men that night.

While it's unclear what Norman's connection to the NBA group was, various outlets have identified him as NBA Boomer, NBA Selfpaid, or as associate of the rap crew whose alias in unknown.

Norman was found on Monday by the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force. They stopped Norman and found him in possession of a stolen gun. Norman has been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder and a charge related to the gun.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is currently being held in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was recalled to the prison after being involved with a shootout in Miami, a potential violation of his probation. The shooting killed 43-year-old Mohamad Jradi, a bystander who was on his way home from work when the shooting started.

YoungBoy's attorney James Manasseh said the rapper was "the victim of an assassination attempt," and that he felt extreme guilt over the death of Jradi.

"I wish they would have gotten me, not him," he reportedly told Manasseh.

If YoungBoy is found to be in violation of his probation, he will have to begin his 10-year suspended sentence on that previous aggravated assault charge.
