6ix9ine has been banned from a luxury apartment complex in the Miami area, at least according to a new report.

TMZ, citing sources “familiar” with the situation, said on Tuesday that 6ix9ine has been barred from the SLS Lux Property-owned facility in question due to the behavior of his armed security detail. As the report explains, 6ix9ine is alleged to typically stay with YouTube personality SteveWillDoIt when he’s in the area. However, the SLS Lux Property legal team is alleged to have recently sent him a letter outlining why 6ix9ine is no longer welcome on the property.

According to the report, the letter states that a guard working for 6ix9ine at one point left “his assault weapon unattended on his bag” on the property. Additionally, the letter is said to highlight how 6ix9ine’s current situation (namely “provocative antics” and what they say is “the bounty placed on 6ix9ine’s life”) could equate to an unsafe environment for all involved.

Complex has reached out to SLS Lux, as well as to a rep for 6ix9ine, for comment. This story may be updated.

6ix9ine has remained in and out of headlines since being released from prison in 2020 following a widely discussed Nine Trey court case in which he ultimately pleaded guilty and cooperated with prosecutors, as discussed at length in Shawn Setaro’s book Dummy Boy.

In October, court documents revealed that a lawyer had claimed 6ix9ine owed his firm “approximately $400,00 in unpaid legal fees” in connection with separate cases. Weeks earlier, 6ix9ine publicly addressed claims that he was attacked at a nightclub in Dubai, criticizing the presentation of the story in question as “fake news.”
