A couple years after the release of his last album Black Mirror, JUNO Award-winning Toronto MC Tona is back with a tasty new video for his latest heater "Links."

Directed by Andrew "ShotbyDrew" Stephenson, the video sees the Naturally Born Strangers member spit effortless bars in front of Scarborough institution Johnny's Hamburgers. We are marved AF just watching this.

The song itself, featuring a dirty beat by Toronto hip-hop/electronic producer Memorecks, is about brigding divides between cities, neighbourhoods, and individuals. There are shout-outs to Mississauga, Chicago, and hell, even Fred Savage.

"It always has and will continue to be a link up ting in this city," Tona tells us.

"Links" is the first single off of Tona's forthcoming album July 26th, which, oddly enough, will not be released on July 26, according to the rapper. Bet y'all didn't see that coming.
