Foxy Brown is ending her 2019 by taking aim at DJ Envy and the Breakfast Club.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Foxy sent shots at Envy for suggesting things "dwindled off" for her.
"FISH ASS ENVY @djenvy Act stupid if u want! Damn near broke ur BACK carrying MY RECORDS & CHANEL LUGGAGE Til’ DEF JAM sent u back to the HOOD!!!" Foxy wrote. "4 MULTI PLATINUM ALBUMS FUCK BOY!!! PLAY NICE! GAVE YOU LIFE! She purposely LOW BITCH! Got injured, bussed back, BIRTHED A GORGEOUS ASS BABY GIRL Cocksucker 2020 the POP OFF!!!!! AGGY cuz we ain’t do Breakfast Club! DICKRIDER, let KING BITCH leave your mouth Dem #BROOKLYNBOYZ outside! #LIL’DJCLUE"
On Friday's episode of the Breakfast Club, DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne tha God sat down for a conversation with Don Pooh. Pooh is credited for discovering Shyne and Foxy. He was also Brown's manager at the beginning of her career. This led Envy to ask if Don knows why Foxy's career trailed off.
"She was doing her thing for a while. She actually put out three albums," he said around the interview's 3:45 minute mark. "She's a mom now. She just fell back a little bit. ... Hopefully we will see or hear from her soon."
Pooh and Foxy have also alluded to her hearing issues. In 2005, Brown announced she was suffering from severe and sudden hearing loss in both ears. Fortunately, she was able to have a risky procedure that restored her hearing.
"It was really hard. I was deaf for an entire year. Completely deaf. The surgery was iffy," Foxy told MTV News in 2006. "They didn't know if it would be a success, and it was.
Although her hearing came back, this injury addition to starting a new family has resulted in her retreating from the spotlight.
