At ComplexCon Long Beach 2019, one huge Kid Cudi fan asked the Kids See Ghosts rapper to sign his arm. Upon receiving the autograph, he told Cudi he'd get it as a tattoo. The fan—who goes by @jaysq60 on Twitter—followed through.
"Got it tattooed guys," Jay wrote on Twitter. "Told you I would. LOVE YOU CUD YOU TOOK ME ON A JOURNEY THAT NIGHT. Love you you make dreams come true."
Over the ComplexCon Long Beach 2019 weekend, Cudi opened his headlining performance with some big name guests. Actor Timothée Chalamet introduced the Man on the Moon rapper by performing Common's intro from the album. "In this world being a leader is trouble for the system we are all accustomed to," Chalamet told the crowd.
After that, Cudi was joined onstage by Pusha-T. Clearly overjoyed by the moment, Chalamet jumped around onstage as the two rappers performed. “We’re going to have some fun tonight and take a journey,” Cudi told the crowd. “We’re going to take them back first, then work our way to Man on the Moon II. Then we’re going to do some Indicud shit, and a couple jams in between.”
