Young Thug's YSL Records has announced Super Slimey 2 is on the way.
Like the first installment, Thug and Future will play a heavy hand in Super Slimey 2. But, it also seems like this project will be an opportunity for the two seasoned veterans to pass the torch to another dynamic duo as Gunna and Lil Baby will also be included. While Super Smiley was full of trap duets, it will be exciting to hear Future and Thug turn their group into a quartet that features two of the hottest young artists in the game.
Although Future and Thug put out high volumes of work, their connection on the Super Slimey series carries a different type of weight. Similar to Gunna and Lil Baby, Thugger and Pluto have a genuine friendship that extends past surface-level perception.
"That's my brother," Thug said during an interview with No Jumper. "This shit ain't about no rap. That's my brother, like whoever he hate I hate. No matter if we was cool, we had friendships, no matter what. If he don't like you, I hate you."
