Da Snowman’s back for one more final run.
Jeezy releases his last album, TM104: The Legend of the Snowman, which also marks the closing chapter of his Thug Motivation series. The 41-year-old rapper spoke to Billboardabout creating another “street bible,” telling the publication he re-listened to his previous Thug Motivations and The Recession before writing and recording TM104.
On the concept of motivating “thugs,” Jeezy says his past experience gives him the credibility to share his story to make sure others don’t do the same wrongs.
“I was the one cat that made it through that and I seen so much that it made me numb, but it also made me want to spread what I saw so that I can help people overcome what they was going through,” he said. “The TM series represents adversity and represents the struggle, overcoming obstacles. It represents evolution. If you look at it, it’s sturdy steps of evolution, like watching somebody grow and bigger and wiser and better.
The album is 18 tracks and features Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Queen Naija, Gunna, CeeLo Green, Ball Greezy, Ty Dolla Sign, and John Legend. Highlights from the album include “White Keys,” “MLK BLVD,” “4 Play,” the latter of which flips Pretty Ricky’s “On the Hotline,” and “The Reveal MVP.” It's a fitting addition to the Thug Motivation series, and exactly what you'd expect from the former four-time trapper of the year.
To promote his album, Jeezy stopped by The Angie Martinez Show this week where he talked about collaborating with Rozay—who he had a past beef with—as well as JAY-Z's NFL partnership.
“I just think what I learned about this game more than anything is its about your relationships with solid people and having an open line of communication,” he said of reconciling with Ross.

On the topic of TM 104, Jeezy says you’ll be able to listen to the album 10 years from now and still get some game from it. “This ain’t all club, party music,” he explained. “This is real.”
