YG’s second daughter was reportedly born today.
According to a tweet by Karen Civil, YG and Catelyn Sparks have named their daughter Vibe Jackson.
Sparks was expecting a second child back in March. TMZ reported she was due sometime in July. Vibe will have a companion in YG and Sparks' first child, three-year-old Harmony.
YG has yet to share the news of his newborn on social media.
In May, YG released his fourth studio album, 4Real 4Real, featuring the singles “Stop Snitchin” and “Go Loko” featuring Tyga and Jon Z. His album was delayed after intending to release it around Coachella due to the death of Nipsey Hussle. He dedicated the album to Nipsey – both on the cover and on a track called “My Last Words,” which was his speech given at Nipsey’s memorial.
In light of recent events – most notably his friend Slim 400 recovering from a near-fatal shooting – YG can finally put a smile on his face again. Congrats to the couple on the birth of Vibe!
