Megan Thee Stallion and Hype Williams have some Fever-centered cinema on the way.

The announcement of Fever: Thee Movie, helmed by the prolific and hugely influential music video director Hype Williams, was shared to Megan's official Instagram account Sunday alongside a teaser trailer and a "coming soon" promise.

Judging by this glimpse at the Megan x Hype production, we can expect some Tarantino-inspired aesthetic decisions and some choice cameos. For what it's worth, Fever: Thee Movie also boasts a self-given X rating.

Hype Williams (of course) has a celebrated music video career spanning decades with a roster of previous collaborators including 2Pac, Missy Elliott, JAY-Z, DMX, Kanye West, Hoobastank, Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and more.

His feature film debut, Belly, celebrated 20 years last November with a ComplexCon(versations) panel with Nas and T-Boz. Revisit that discussion below:

The Fever: Thee Movie tease was followed shortly with by an equally headlines-inspiring Instagram update in which Megan declared Moneybagg Yo is "a Hot Boy now."

Earlier this month, Megan brought Fever track "Realer" and Tina Snow cut "Big Ole Freak" together for a Jimmy Kimmel Live performance. The results were very good, indeed:
