YG Affiliate Slim 400 Shot in Los Angeles (UPDATE)

The 31-year-old rapper is best known for his team-up's with YG and Lil Yachty on songs like "Bruisin" and "Skraper."

UPDATED 7/1, 10 a.m. ET: Slim 400's team told Complex, "After multiple surgeries, Slim is resting. He is in critical but stable condition and we are truly thankful for that." The statement continues:

"Slim's family and friends remain by his side and greatly appreciate the continued prayers and support. He is a family man, a father, a community man, and a uniquely talented artist with a greater purpose. Slim's family is overwhelmingly thankful for every call, every positive thought, and every prayer."

UPDATED 6/29 12:57 p.m. ET: TMZ shared that Slim 400 was shot eight times and underwent surgery, citing unnamed sources close to the situation. They add that YG was with Slim in the hospital throughout much of the ordeal and note that the 400 was conscious.

Los Angeles rapper and YG associate Slim 400 was rushed to the hospital after being shot multiple times in Compton last night. TMZ reports that the call came in around 8:30 p.m. local time.

A motive and suspect in the case is unclear, but the website's sources say a black vehicle suspected to be involved with the shooting was seen driving away from the scene. The latest reports say that 400 is in critical but stable condition.

There is no reports of where the rapper was shot and the extent of his injuries. All that's known is that he was shot multiple times and he has been stabilized.
