In the wake of Father's Day, one of hip-hop more famous dad's, Dennis Graham, sat down with podcasting duo, ItsTheReal. During the conversation, Dennis G shared a few interesting stories about his son.

Dennis explained the Drake had been special since he was a little child. In fact, his son's first stint into entertainment came at a very young age when Drake began modeling.

"Drake was different," Dennis said at the interview's 45-minute mark. "I told my wife that Drake had 'that look' and we should put him into doing modeling. We got his pictures done, got him an agent and he started working."

Dennis continued to give Drake visionary advice by suggesting his son take up acting as a career path.

"I went to Kohl's and I started buying acting scenes," Dennis said when explaining how a seven-year-old Drake got started in acting. "We started reading... taught him how to laugh. Taught him out to cry. Taught him how to smile. How to be happy, how to be sad... He had it. I knew he had it." Dennis' training eventually landed Drake his breakthrough role as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi at the age of 9.

"My whole thing for Drake was trying to get him to the star-level and Degrassi did that. I wanted him to be a star."
