Before this series (and probably after), Drake had love for the "Yay Area." But his enthusiastic support of the Toronto Raptors forced the rapper to stay in the North during the NBA Finals.

Following the Raptors' series-clinching Game 6 victory, Drake took to Instagram Live to celebrate the franchise's first championship. During the session, Drake admitted that the NBA asked him not to travel to Oracle for any of the away games to avoid any security issues. When TMZ caught up with Drake's dad, Dennis Graham explains why his son posed a risk.

"You know when people see you in Toronto and you're making sideline things like that you got to be careful," Dennis explained after confirming his son was urged to stay in Toronto. "You know, you can't take chances."

While they were enemies for the duration of the series, Drake has a close relationship with the Bay Area (see: "The Motto"). All of that goes out the window when a ring is on the line. Drake got the last laugh as he was at Toronto to watch his Raptors win and celebrate with chips with dip.
