Earlier this month, 16-year-old rapper and close XXXTentacion associate C Glizzy was hospitalized after he was shot in the head. Glizzy, real name Christian Moore, was shot when he standing outside a convenience store in Pompano Beach, Florida. He underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his head, and he's expected to make a full recovery. The Miami Herald reports that an unnamed 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident.
Broward Sheriff's Office announced on Monday evening that they had identified the suspect, but they did not release any information due to their age. The suspect reportedly had an argument with Glizzy inside and outside the convenience store, and afterwards shot at Moore, his brother, and a friend as they drove away from the scene. He was arrested on Friday, June 21.
When Glizzy was shot, his mother and brother took him to a nearby hospital but crashed into an interstate off ramp en route. They were reportedly taken to the hospital in two cars by people who witnessed the crash.
Glizzy had been spotted hanging out with fellow rapper XXXTentacion prior to X's murder last year. The extent of Glizzy's injuries following the shooting is currently unknown, but his mother previously stated that he was heavily sedated and is expected to recover sometime soon.
