The mother of XXXTentacion's alleged child will play a role in the late rapper's murder trials.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Florida prosecutors have announced they will present new evidence against XXX's suspected killers Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen, and Trayvon Newsome. Attorneys state that among the new evidence are statements provided by parties with connection to XXX and/or the defendants. These individuals include Jenesis Sanchez, who reportedly dated and lived with the rapper in the months leading up to his death.

The Blast reports prosecutors will present two statements from Sanchez, but did not reveal the details of the said accounts. Statements from Cleopatra Bernard—XXX's mother—will also be used in the forthcoming trials.

The news arrives amid Sanchez and Bernard's legal battle over XXX's DNA. Sanchez reportedly filed a petition demanding the medical examiner hand over XXX's DNA so she can establish paternity for her son, Gekyume Onfroy. Though Bernard hasn't disputed XXX's relationship to the child, legal documents show she is asking the court to block Sanchez's request.

It's unclear why Bernard objects to a paternity test, but fans suspect it has something to do with her financial stake in XXX's estate.

According to The Blast, a judge has yet to make a decision on either request.
