French Montana enlists the in-demand services of Blueface for his latest.

Up top, stream French's "Slide" video featuring Blueface and Lil Tjay. The track first premiered Tuesday during Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. Notably, "Slide" features a nod to Dr. Dre and Snoop's "Still D.R.E."

Back in August, Montana told Billboard he was "70 percent" done with a new album, his first studio project since 2017's gold-certified Jungle Rules. Earlier this month, he linked with Jennifer Lopez for the StarGate-assisted "Medicine." The song marked their third collaboration following the 2014 cuts "I Luh Ya Papi" and "Same Girl."

In an interview Tuesday with Zane Lowe, Montana updated fans on the progress of his next project. "I'm about 96 percent done," he said, adding a collaboration with Cardi B and Post Malone is coming.

Montana's "Slide" collaborator Blueface, meanwhile, is currently in the middle of an extremely fruitful chapter of his career brought on by the continued success of hits like "Bleed It" and the widely remixed "Thotiana." In March, he closed out a blockbuster month with the release of the official "West Coast" video alongside G-Eazy, YG, and ALLBLACK.

Lil Tjay, fresh off the release of his "Move Right" video, outlined his 2019 ambitions in a recent Rolling Stone profile. The methodology for now isn't hell-bent on the traditional approach of getting an album together to build on singles success. Instead, Tjay is taking his ascent on a song-by-song basis. "If I don't feel like it’s a hit then I don't feel like dropping it," he said in January.

At the time of this writing, Tjay's 2018 hit "Brothers" had amassed just under 40 million views on YouTube.
