After receiving a number of outstanding warrants for alleged failure to pay child support, Dame Dash has announced that he plans to turn himself in to the NYPD. In an interview with TMZ, Dash confirmed that he'll surrender to authorities in New York City after accusations of owing almost $400k in child support to the mother of his son, Cindy Morales, and to his ex-wife Rachel Roy.

"For some reason, when I was in L.A. I got all these warrants saying I didn't pay child support," he explained. During the chat he claimed that he's innocent, stating that he's given both of them plenty of money throughout the years, having jut recently given Morales $150k so she could purchase a home. "I just found out that I have to prove she got the money, so I'm like, 'Fuck it, I'm gonna turn myself in.'"

Dash still co-owns the Rachel Roy Collection with his ex-wife, and has claimed that she takes her child support payments from his share of profits from the clothing company. "I’ll sit in jail for three or four days or whatever they want me to do. I’m an innocent man," he said in conversation with TMZ. "There’s no reason for me not to turn myself in. I’m sick of my name being compromised."

A court judge first signed a warrant for his unpaid child support three years ago.
