Soulja Boy is having one hell of a month, and he put an exclamation point on the last day of January by announcing his new deal with Warner/Chapell Music. Soulja shared a series of photos on Instagram with shots of himself putting pen to paper while inside the label’s office and popping champagne to celebrate the signing.

"It’s official I’m now signed to Warner/Chappell I’m the hottest rapper in the game facts," Soulja wrote with the post.

Unless you started 2019 by deciding to live under a rock, then you’re well aware of how Soulja Boy trolled his way back into the spotlight. As the playbook tends to go, Soulja tried to get himself into a feud or two by calling out the “lame ass rappers” that have made “trash-ass fucking music” on Instagram.

Soulja’s greatest moment came when he appeared on The Breakfast Club, and created what may have been the first amazing meme of 2019 by screaming "Draaaaaake?!" when the "What’s Hannenin" rapper discussed all the people currently in hip-hop that he's influenced. Through all the viral antics, there had to be an end game in sight, and it became clear when he revealed that he had new music on the way.

The announcement of his Warner/Chapell Music deal came just before he revealed the first single "Intro" off his forthcoming album, How Could You Blame Me?.

Soulja had a plan all along, and it's working out perfectly.
