Illegal Civilization just shared a tribute to Mac Miller, including new footage of the rapper on music video shoots and in the studio. The clip ends with Mac hanging with Vince Staples, who is freestyling for the room.
Illegal Civ put Mac in a short film about a well-dressed ranch owner and several of the clips appear to come from the shoots for that short. As for Vince, he has previously talked about the connection between himself and the late rapper. The pair worked together on the 2013 mixtape Stolen Youth, with Mac producing under the pseudonym Larry Fisherman.
"I don’t really know what to say about the whole situation but I appreciate everybody sending their condolences," Staples wrote on Twitter at the time of Mac's passing. "There is no Vince Staples music without Mac Miller."
