BlocBoy JB has been arrested on gun and drug charges, TMZ reports. The "Look Alive" rapper turned himself in after authorites made it known that he was wanted on criminal possesion of a firearm and various drug and paraphernalia possession charges.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office shared the news that they were looking for JB, real name James Baker, on Twitter earlier this month.

"Breaking: SCSO needs help in locating James Baker, 22, better known as BlocBoy JB," they wrote. "Baker is wanted for poss of drugs & drug paraphernalia, a convicted felon in poss of a handgun, & for theft of prop. Anyone with tips regarding Baker’s location is asked to contact law enforcement."

In spite of the charges and the apparent decision to turn himself in, BlocBoy shared several videos to Instagram this morning before he contacted police.
