Superproducer Murda Beatz has a good ear when it comes to emerging talent, and Toronto rapper Booggz is no different. The two have worked together closely in the past, but they've got their best collaborative single yet with "Coup'd Up." With co-production from illmind, "Coup'd Up" sees Booggz starting off his year on a strong note.
"When me and Murda get in the studio it's like when Steph and Klay get in the gym," Booggz explained. "He motivates me I motivate him that's my splash brother. 'Coup'd Up' is actually one of Murda's favorite records, we got a few in the bag." The new track is taken from Booggz next project, FatherFigure, which is due to drop sometime later this year.
