If you don't immediately become inconsolably stoked at the promise of new Valee, then I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.
Monday of all days brought us some fresh Valee in the form of TM88 and Southside's new collab "Hmmm." In addition to boasting a title that's not unlike a certain Relient K album in its level of pronunciation difficulty for radio DJs, the new single boasts features from Valee and Lil Yachty. As usual, you can grab the new song up top via YouTube and/or below via Apple Music/Spotify. The new song was mixed by Alex Tumay.
If the previously teased form of TM88's new project holds shape, we can expect the prolific producer to give fans a representation of all the "growth and transformation" he's undergone in his career in recent years.
Last week, he dropped off the video for the Gunna and Southside-featuring "Order," directed by Zain Alexander Shammas. Earlier this year, TM88 enlisted Doe Boy for the collab project 88 Birdz.
In an interview with Rap-Up last July, TM88 reflected on the then-fresh success of "XO Tour Llif3" and how his usual in-studio routine remains much the same. "I think I'm in the studio more often than not, probably from 4 p.m. all the way to 4 in the morning," he said at the time. "Sometimes 6 p.m. to 4. It just depends, but I try to work on my craft because there are always more producers and more artists coming out so you want to be ahead of the curve."
