Xan announced the news early in the hours of Sunday morning, offering fans a simple update to his wellbeing. He's admitted before that he's had some issues with prescription drugs in the past.

"Mostly hydrocodone or just, like, norcos is what they call 'em," he told TMZ when he announced his rehab plans. "Right now, opioid. Basically a lot of opioids. I've been way worse in the past. I've actually been 10 times worse than what I've been now. I want to do rehab just so I can get over this last hump or stretch so I can finally be just back to Diego." He said that upon exiting rehab, he plans to drop the Lil Xan name in favor of his birth name, Diego.
